Dine-In, Curbside Carry-Out and Delivery
We at The Angry Italian are excited to announce that the dining room is now open with limited seating. We are looking so forward to seeing familiar faces and meeting new ones. We have made some changes to the way we do things in compliance with CDC guidelines - so please read the outline below.
Our hours have been updated! Tuesday - Friday 11am - 9pm, Saturdays 1pm - 9pm. Our last orders will be taken until 8:15 for Deep Dish Pizza and 8:30 for Tavern Style Pizza.
We will continue to offer curbside pickup for all To-Go orders. We do our best to fulfill all orders as they come in. Please note if the phone is ringing busy or your are unable to place an order online, it means that we are too busy to accept additional orders. Please park in the lot on 6th street and a server will bring your order to your car. The back door will not be open to the public. Online ordering will not have a Dine-In option.
Those wanting to dine in will be sat first-come-first-served with a text waitlist when needed. There will be fewer tables open in order to adhere to the 6 foot distancing. You will need to wait for your table outside the restaurant or in your car. Parties must be less than 6 - including high chairs. Dine in will be limited to 90 minute time blocks and we will strive to get your order to you promptly. We will NOT be taking reservations or pre-orders.
Our staff will be wearing masks. The tables will be fully sanitized after each departure.
There will be outside tables available weather permitting. They may fall to the waitlist as well.
We cannot thank you enough for your support and patience during this time. We are all learning what the restaurant business looks like in our ‘new normal”, and we are striving to provide you with a delicious, relaxing meal in the safest manner possible.
Meet the Angry Italian
Keith Yonker, owner/Certified Executive Chef, was born and raised in the Chicago "region". He had a passion for the culinary arts starting at a young age and his career has led him all over the U.S....working for a variety of restaurants and resorts. Keith has worked for Morton's in California, at Charlie's Crab in Palm Beach, Casa Restaurants in Fort Wayne, and Starwood Resorts in Cape Cod. In 2015, Keith moved to the Tri-Cities to oversee the seven cafes at Eastman as their Artisan Chef. He's always wanted to make his home in East Tennessee. One of his greatest culinary honors was when Keith was selected for the National Pizza Team (twice) and competed in Italy placing 8th in the world.
Keith is excited to introduce Chicago inspired Italian to Eastern Tennessee. Keith says his philosophy is simple. "We wish to provide you with the best in authentic Chicago style pizza and sandwiches, surround you with a place that makes you feel welcome, where you meet old friends for lunch and dinner, and make new ones. And, where you can always catch a game on and leave full and satisfied."
Oh, and if you are wondering WHY we call it The Angry Italian...just lean your ears toward our kitchen. You will figure it out. (He's really not angry, just animated.) We appreciate your business and hope you come back again soon!
